Claude Opus 4.6

Anthropic has released Claude Opus 4.6, a flagship upgrade with stronger coding, debugging, reasoning, and autonomous task performance.

The update adds a beta 1M-token context window, agent teams in Claude Code, plus API compaction and adaptive thinking controls.

It also improves Claude for Excel and adds a PowerPoint research preview, while keeping pricing unchanged.

Claude Opus 4.6 is available on claude.ai, via the API, and on major cloud platforms.
