Meta unveils new LLM "Muse Spark" for Meta AI

Meta announced Muse Spark, the first model in a new LLM series from Meta Superintelligence Labs.

It is built for Meta’s products and is already running in the Meta AI app and web assistant.

Muse Spark is small and fast, with reasoning for complex questions in science, math, and health.

Meta AI also supports multimodal prompts, mode switching, parallel sub-agents, and content from reels, photos, and posts, with creator credits.

The rollout starts in the US and will expand in weeks to more countries, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and AI glasses; API previews and possible open sourcing are also planned.
