2027 Audi RS5 first drive: A performance PHEV with split personalities

Audi has revealed the 2027 RS5, its first RS plug-in hybrid model.

It pairs a new 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor and 22 kWh battery for a combined 630 hp.

The car offers about 50 miles of electric-only driving and uses an eight-speed automatic with all-wheel drive.

Audi also added an electric torque-vectoring rear differential and RS-specific bodywork to sharpen performance.
