7.1-hectare sports park to be built in Nakagawa, Fukuoka Prefecture, with track and field, tennis, kyudo, and a multipurpose plaza

Nakagawa City in Fukuoka Prefecture has selected a consortium led by Nippon Road as the preferred bidder for its integrated sports park project.

The plan covers about 7.1 hectares and includes a multipurpose plaza, track and field stadium, tennis courts, kyudo range, and clubhouse.

The facility is scheduled to begin operations at the end of March 2028 and will be operated for 15 years.

The new park is expected to strengthen the city’s sports infrastructure, improve convenience, and support local health and area appeal.
