SpaceX's Starship V3 survives its first full test flight

SpaceX’s Starship V3 completed its first full test flight after an earlier scrub caused by tower equipment issues.

The vehicle reached suborbital space, deployed dummy satellites, and lost one upper-stage engine during the mission.

Starship then performed a controlled descent and splashed down before breaking apart as planned.

The result marks an important step for SpaceX’s next-generation reusable launch system and its Starlink and Mars plans.
