Rockstar games like GTA release on console before PC because that’s the ‘core consumer’, Take-Two CEO Zelnick says

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said Rockstar does not plan a day-one PC release for Grand Theft Auto 6.

GTA 6 is set to launch first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, following Rockstar’s console-first approach.

Zelnick said the move reflects Rockstar’s history of serving core console players before expanding to PC.

He rejected the idea that a Sony exclusivity deal is driving the decision.
