ChromeOS Flex gets a $3 USB installer to revive aging Windows PCs

Microsoft ended Windows 10 support in October 2025.

Eligible users can get an extra year of security updates through October 2026.

Google partnered with Back Market to expand access to ChromeOS Flex.

The ChromeOS Flex USB Kit costs $3/€3 and is a physical USB installer.

It can install ChromeOS Flex on Windows or Mac machines, but unsupported hardware may fail.
