Apple and Samsung are dominating smartphone sales so thoroughly that only one other company makes the top 10

Counterpoint Research said Apple and Samsung captured nine of the 10 best-selling smartphones worldwide in Q1 2026.

The iPhone 17 ranked first, followed by other Apple models including the iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro.

Samsung’s Galaxy A07 4G and Galaxy A17 5G also made the list, reinforcing the strength of its A-series.

Xiaomi’s Redmi A5 was the only non-Apple and non-Samsung phone in the top 10.
