Arize AI and Google Cloud lay down standardized telemetry mandate to keep enterprise agents in check

Arize AI has partnered with Google Cloud to align Arize AX with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.

The companies are promoting standardized tracing via OpenTelemetry and OpenInference for AI agents.

The aim is to let teams instrument agents once and keep analyzing behavior across changing frameworks, models, tools, and observability backends.

For enterprises, this could simplify debugging, evaluation, and governance while reducing vendor lock-in.
