Insta360’s Mic Pro uses a three microphone array for improved recordings

Insta360 launched the Mic Pro wireless microphone system, available as standalone transmitters or a kit with receiver and charging case.

Each transmitter packs a three-microphone array, a color E Ink display, 32GB of onboard storage, and multiple pickup patterns.

The Mic Pro can connect directly over Bluetooth to phones and compatible Insta360 cameras, including the X5, Go Ultra, and Ace Pro 2.

Its unusual hardware and recording flexibility could give creators better audio capture and backup options.
