Google’s Gemini can now run on a single air-gapped server — and vanish when you pull the plug

Cirrascale is expanding its Google Cloud partnership to bring Gemini to fully private on-premises deployments.

The setup uses Google Distributed Cloud as an air-gapped, confidential-computing appliance running on Dell hardware with Nvidia GPUs.

It can run in Cirrascale or customer facilities, is available in preview now, and is expected to reach broader release in mid-2026.

The move gives regulated organizations and government agencies a way to use Gemini without sending data to public cloud infrastructure.
