Mac, meet Gemini: Google's AI gives Apple's macOS a 'native' experience for sharing and more

Google has released the Gemini app for macOS 15 and later, bringing a native desktop experience to Mac users.

The app adds an Option+Space shortcut and window sharing so users can get contextual help without leaving their current work.

It also supports AI image and video generation and is rolling out globally.
