US builds $50M hypersonic payload hub ahead of schedule to speed Mach 5+ flight testing

Kratos completed a 68,000-square-foot hypersonic payload integration facility near Crane, Indiana, ahead of schedule.

The $50 million site can integrate up to six payloads at once and will support programs including MACH-TB and other hypersonic tests.

The facility adds scarce U.S. test capacity for Mach 5+ systems, helping accelerate missile development timelines.

Kratos expects the project to create more than 100 jobs and strengthen domestic defense infrastructure.
