Gemini overlay and Gemini Live start rolling out big Android redesign [Gallery]

Google is testing and rolling out a refreshed Gemini overlay and Gemini Live interface on Android.

The new overlay combines attachment and Tools menus into a bottom sheet with quick actions like Photos, Camera, Drive, and more.

Gemini Live replaces its wide fullscreen pill with a floating control bar for waveform, sharing, keyboard, and captions.

While navigating, Live now shrinks into a smaller bubble, making it feel more like an always-available system feature.

The redesign is appearing in Google app beta 17.3, not yet in the stable release.
