Don't Like Your Gmail Email Address? You Can Finally Change It

Google announced U.S. accounts can change their Google Account email address used for Gmail and other services.

Users may switch to any available @gmail.com address and the old address becomes an alias that still works for sign-in and email.

Changes are limited to once per year and up to three times total, and Google says all emails and account data are preserved.

Users can revert to a previous address if they change their mind.
