Kansas City Public Schools to replace 30,000 Windows PCs and Chromebooks with Apple devices

Kansas City Public Schools will phase out more than 30,000 Windows PCs and Chromebooks in favor of Apple devices.

The district has already bought 4,500 MacBook Neos for students in grade 8 and above.

Younger students will continue using existing iPads and MacBook Airs as the rollout expands.

The move underscores a major K-12 shift toward Apple hardware and sustained demand in education.
