Philips and AOC join the 1,000 Hz monitor race with new 1080p models

AOC and Philips have unveiled two new 1080p gaming monitors, the Agon AGP257FT and Evnia 25M4P5200T, that can reach 1,000Hz.

The displays are built for esports, with 0.2ms GtG response, DisplayHDR 400, strong sRGB coverage, and eye-comfort features.

They join LG’s recent UltraGear 25G90B in pushing Full HD refresh rates to unprecedented levels.

Pricing and launch timing have not been announced, but the monitors are expected to debut first in China.
