Yelp’s updated AI assistant can answer questions and book a restaurant or service in one conversation

Yelp updated its AI assistant so users can ask questions and then complete actions like reservations, food orders, and service bookings in the same flow.

Restaurant bookings, delivery, and appointment scheduling are enabled through partner integrations including DoorDash, Grubhub, Vagaro, ZocDoc, RepairPal, and Calendly.

The assistant is launching in a new in-app tab on iOS and Android, with desktop access and broader business support coming later.

The move pushes Yelp further from a reviews site toward an AI-powered discovery-and-action platform that keeps users inside Yelp longer.
