"The right to safe transport is being violated": Renfe is already facing a complaint over the lack of air conditioning on its trains

Consumer group Acusval has filed a complaint against Renfe over air-conditioning failures on Madrid Cercanías trains.

The worst problems were reported on line C-3 between Valdemoro and Madrid, during a severe heat wave, raising health concerns for passengers.

Acusval has asked Madrid’s consumer authority to inspect the service and consider possible sanctions.

Renfe says it has only logged two recent incidents, is carrying out maintenance, and has launched a climate-control improvement plan.
