Anker is betting its new chip can change how AI runs in earbuds

Anker unveiled Thus, a compute-in-memory processor that runs neural networks directly in NOR flash for on-device AI.

The chip is designed to cut power use and enable larger local AI models in compact, battery-constrained devices.

Its first application is in Soundcore earbuds, including enhanced call noise cancellation and future AI features.

If successful, the approach could bring faster, more private, and less cloud-dependent AI to wearables and IoT devices.
