Modder Gives Steam Deck a Nintendo DS-Inspired Makeover

A Reddit modder, Pixel Nerd, rebuilt an LCD Steam Deck into a hot-pink 3D-printed clamshell inspired by the Nintendo DS.

The mod reused nearly every original part except the thumbsticks, and the device reportedly still works, including gyro controls.

The project highlights how far Steam Deck hardware modding can go with community tinkering and replacement parts.
