Apple Seeds iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5 Release Candidates to Developers

Apple has seeded release candidate builds of iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5 to developers, pointing to a public launch as soon as next week.

The update looks incremental, with Apple Maps Suggested Places, a new Pride wallpaper, and continued testing of RCS encryption.

Apple is also working on EU-only compatibility for third-party wearables, while bigger Siri changes appear reserved for iOS 27.
