Freight Hero Lands $5M Seed Funding

Durham-based Freight Hero raised a $5 million seed round to expand its AI platform for freight operations.

The round was led by Field Ventures, with participation from Flybridge Capital, Tip Top VC, and Front Porch Venture Partners.

Freight Hero focuses on automating freight brokers’ back-office workflows to improve logistics efficiency.

The funding will help advance software that reduces repetitive work and boosts productivity in freight brokerage.
