Google I/O 2026 Keynote live blog

Google opened I/O 2026 with a keynote focused on Gemini, AI agents, Search updates, Android XR glasses, and new developer tools.

Sundar Pichai and Demis Hassabis framed the announcements as part of Google’s push to make AI central across consumer products and workflows.

The company also previewed new models and products, including Gemini 3.5 Flash, Gemini Spark, Google AI Ultra, and Google Antigravity.

Google said the changes will bring more generative AI and agent features into Search, Workspace, YouTube, and the broader developer ecosystem.
