Android gets AI agents that book trips, fill forms, and clean up your texts

Google is adding Gemini-powered AI agents to Android to automate multi-step tasks like trip booking, form filling, web summarization, and message cleanup.

The new Gemini Intelligence features can also create custom widgets from simple descriptions, expanding Android’s built-in AI capabilities.

Rollout starts this summer on Samsung Galaxy S26 and Google Pixel 10 devices, with more device types coming later.

The move pushes Android toward more agentic AI and sharpens Google’s competition with OpenAI and Anthropic.
