Ted Danson joins upcoming untitled Apple TV comedy series

Ted Danson has joined Elizabeth Banks’ untitled Apple TV+ half-hour comedy series as her father.

The show follows Heidi, a newly divorced woman rebuilding her life while getting drawn into her dad’s retirement-community dating scene.

Created by Liz Heldens and Matt Ward, the series also stars Rob Delaney and is set to film in Los Angeles later this year.

The casting adds a veteran name to Apple TV+’s growing comedy slate, with a likely 2027 debut.
