Apple's iOS 27 Could Be Siri's Biggest AI Reinvention Yet

Bloomberg says Apple’s iOS 27 could bring a major Siri redesign with a new interface and dedicated app.

The updated Siri may appear in Dynamic Island, offer Search/Ask entry points, and support both voice and text.

Apple is also reportedly testing more agent-like behavior, including richer answers, document and photo analysis, and deeper app actions.

The assistant could route some requests to third-party AI agents such as ChatGPT or Gemini.

If shipped, the change would move Siri closer to a capable AI assistant for multi-step tasks and personal data access.
