YouTube's AI Deepfake Detection Tool Is Now Available To All Creators 18 And Older

YouTube is expanding its AI likeness detection tool to all creators aged 18 and older.

Creators can enroll in YouTube Studio, verify their identity, and have uploads scanned for unauthorized use of their face.

If a match is found, they can review the video and request removal; the tool can also ask about voice use, but it does not detect voice on its own.

The broader rollout aims to help more users spot deepfakes and reduce impersonation on the platform.
