Threads is finally getting DMs on the web

Meta is testing Threads direct messages on the web after launching them on mobile about a year ago.

Users can view their inbox and message requests, and control who can message them.

Meta also plans to test group chats and additional privacy controls soon.

The update brings a long-requested feature to Threads’ desktop experience and narrows the gap with mobile.
