Android 17 Beta 3 starts adding more blur to system UI

Widget picker switches widget picker background to blur, android 17 Beta 3 changes the widget picker background from a solid color to a blur.

App sheets and lists applies blur to per-app sheet and full list, the blur effect is applied to the per-app sheet and the full app list in Beta 3.

App launch transition adds blur to wallpaper during app launch, beta 3 adds a wallpaper blur during app launch where previously the background remained unchanged.

Power menu and volume picker blur for power menu, volume picker, and full sheet not yet live in betas, earlier leaks indicated blur would come to power menu, volume picker, and full sheet but those are not active in the betas yet.

Google statement said blur provides a sense of depth and awareness of background apps, google said when the blur was introduced that it provides a sense of depth and helps users stay aware of background apps.
