PASMO to suspend top-ups on the night of May 16 due to system switching

PASMO will suspend sales and charging from 9 p.m. on May 16 until the last train for a system switch.

During the transition, some PASMO and Suica services will be unavailable, including refunds, reissues, deposit returns, and usage history checks.

Train and bus rides, as well as e-money payments, will continue to work normally.

Commuters in the Tokyo area and regions including Sendai, Niigata, Aomori, Morioka, and Akita should plan top-ups ahead of time.
