State of Play: Wolverine Trailer Unveils Game's Story, Villains and Combat

Sony and Insomniac unveiled new Wolverine gameplay at State of Play, centered on brutal claw combat and rage-based powers.

The trailer confirms the Reavers as the main enemy faction and teases appearances by Jean Grey, Mystique, Nightcrawler, Sentinels and Sabretooth.

Wolverine launches on PS5 on Sept. 15, with preorders now open for a $70 standard edition and an $80 Deluxe Digital Edition.

The Deluxe edition adds bonus suits, claws and Technique Points, giving players extra cosmetics and upgrades at launch.
