CGV Pangyo to close on August 19, 11 years after opening

CGV Pangyo will shut down after its final screening on August 19, following the end of its lease with Hyundai Department Store Pangyo.

Opened in 2015, CGV Pangyo operated for 11 years as a premium theater with 7 screens and 1,432 seats.

The closure removes a key movie theater from the Pangyo and Bundang area, likely affecting local screening access.

Attention is also turning to how the vacant space inside the large retail complex will be used next.
