QNAP Pairs a 6-Year-Old Zen 2 EPYC With NVIDIA’s 96GB RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell in Its New Edge AI NAS

QNAP launched the QAI-h1290FX edge AI NAS for on-prem AI workloads and local GenAI use.

The system pairs a 16-core AMD EPYC 7302P CPU with up to 12 U.2 SSDs and dual 25GbE networking.

It supports optional NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, including the 96GB RTX PRO 6000, for running larger models locally.

QNAP also shared benchmark results for LLMs and concurrent inference tests using tools like Ollama and vLLM.
