macOS 26.6 now available, here’s what’s new

Apple has released macOS 26.6 for compatible Macs after beta testing.

The update fixes more than 150 security vulnerabilities and includes bug and performance improvements.

It also addresses issues with Intel-only app warnings, HealthKit, and HDR screenshots in Messages.

Apple says the update may begin background indexing needed for future macOS 27 Siri and Apple Intelligence features.
