Google to Launch Gucci Collaboration Smart Glasses in 2027, Says Gucci Parent CEO

Kering CEO Luca de Meo said he wants Gucci-branded smart glasses made with Google to launch around 2027.

The plan would extend Google’s eyewear push beyond existing partners and into a luxury-fashion collaboration.

Google is looking to use Google and Gucci’s brand appeal to make smart glasses more mainstream.

The move is also aimed at strengthening Google’s position against Meta’s Ray-Ban Meta glasses in the smart-glasses market.
