Crusoe and Aalo Atomics join hands to build the ‘world’s first’ nuclear-powered AI factory soon

Crusoe and Aalo Atomics plan to build what they call the first nuclear-powered AI factory data center.

The first phase is a Crusoe Spark modular data center at Idaho National Laboratory in 2027.

They then plan to deploy Aalo Pods and 50 MWe reactor plants at Crusoe sites by 2029.

The partnership is a test of whether small modular reactors can reliably power energy-hungry AI infrastructure while cutting emissions.
