Nvidia and Microsoft launch open AI security alliance — without OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic

Nvidia and Microsoft are launching the Open Secure AI Alliance with other tech firms to build and share open-source AI security tools.

Founding members include companies like IBM, Hugging Face, Cloudflare, Dell, Cisco, Adobe, Palantir, Cloudera, Siemens, and DoorDash, plus the Linux Foundation.

Major AI labs such as OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic are not part of the group, underscoring the split between open and closed AI ecosystems.

The alliance aims to create shared defenses against attacks from frontier AI models and improve cyber defense for advanced systems.
