‘Arc Raiders’ Is Getting Its Biggest Map Yet, But There’s A Catch

Embark Studios announced the Frozen Trail update for Arc Raiders, arriving in October.

The update adds Riven Tides, the game’s largest map, along with new ARC enemies, progression systems, and a revised skill tree.

Embark is also changing its cadence from monthly updates to two major updates per year, while keeping regular live support in between.

The shift points to bigger but less frequent content drops, which could affect player engagement and game balance.
