Huawei announces Xiaoyi scored above the theoretical gold medal cutoff at the 56th International Physics Olympiad - IT之家

Huawei said its Xiaoyi AI assistant scored 28.6/30 on the theory exam at the 56th International Physics Olympiad, above the gold medal cutoff.

The company said the result shows stronger performance in complex scientific reasoning and multimodal task handling.

Huawei positions Xiaoyi’s performance as a sign of progress toward more capable advanced reasoning and agentic AI systems.
