Unitree Unveils GD01: World's First Mass-Produced Human-Carrying Transforming Mecha at 3.9M RMB

Unitree unveiled the GD01, a 3.9 million RMB human-carrying transforming mecha, and showed it in a video by CEO Wang Xingxing.

The machine can stand and walk in humanoid form, then lower into a quadruped configuration for tougher terrain.

Unitree did not disclose key details such as range, battery life, or production timing.

The launch marks a shift from Unitree’s lower-cost robots toward a high-end platform meant to showcase real-world robotics progress.
