OpenAI acquires TBPN, the buzzy founder-led business talk show

OpenAI has acquired TBPN, a founder-led daily tech talk show that airs three hours on YouTube and X.

TBPN will report to OpenAI political operative Chris Lehane but will remain its own brand and keep editorial independence.

TBPN is hosted by John Coogan and Jordi Hays and is projected to generate over $30 million this year.

OpenAI said it will use the founders’ communications skills beyond the show and already operates its own podcast.
