As EV batteries improve, ChargePoint debuts 600 kW fast charger

ChargePoint has unveiled the Express Solo, a compact standalone DC fast charger that can deliver up to 600 kW.

It can charge two vehicles at once and supports both CCS1 and NACS through Omni Port.

The system is designed to scale from a two-plug setup to more plugs for flexible deployment.

Higher-power public charging could shorten top-up times and make urban EV fast charging more practical.
