Yoyogi Park Renewal to Include Doutor Café in Former Olympic Dormitory, Expanded Night Use

Tokyo announced a renewal plan for Yoyogi Park A area that promotes nighttime use.

The former 1964 Olympic dormitory will be rebuilt as Doutor Park Cafe YOYOGI, opening April 9 with 7:00–19:00 hours.

The cafe will have 32 tsubo area, 78 seats, and serve disaster support functions with movable seating and emergency supplies.

The fountain area will be renovated with dynamic water and light displays and will start operation in early November.
