‘Windrose’ Has Tripled Its Steam Players In A Week

The pirate survival game Windrose more than tripled its Steam concurrent-player peak in about a week, rising from 69,444 at launch to 222,134.

The game also passed 1 million copies sold and is holding a Very Positive rating on Steam.

Its breakout suggests strong demand for new IP and PvE-focused survival games.

Windrose appears to be building momentum well beyond its launch week.
