007 First Light Shaken By Delay On Switch 2, Now Releasing After Other Consoles

IO Interactive announced the Switch 2 version of 007 First Light has been delayed.

The Switch 2 release was originally scheduled for May 27, 2026 — the same day as the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC launches.

IO Interactive now says the game will arrive later this summer.

The studio posted a statement on social media and released a developer diary on YouTube yesterday.

This is another delay for 007 First Light (it was earlier moved from a planned March 2026 launch); the article also notes Hitman World of Assassination had Switch 2 launch problems that were later patched.
