AMD's memory-boosting EXPO 1.2 is here, adds support for three Chinese memory vendors — performance gains could be muted until Zen 6

AMD has released EXPO 1.2 for AM5 motherboards, adding new memory tuning options and lower-latency settings.

The update expands support for newer DDR5 module types, including partial compatibility with CUDIMM, CSODIMM, and MRDIMM.

EXPO 1.2 also adds profiles for three Chinese memory vendors, including RAMXEED Limited Conexant, Rui Xuan, and Fujitsu Synaptics.

Motherboard makers like Asus have begun beta BIOS rollouts for X870E, X870, and B850 boards, with AGESA 1.3.0.1 support.

Some of the biggest performance and compatibility gains may not be fully realized until Zen 6, Ryzen 10000, and later firmware updates.
