Construction Begins on MUFG Headquarters Building in Marunouchi

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group has started construction of a new MUFG headquarters building in Marunouchi.

The new building will be about 160 meters tall with 28 above-ground floors, four basements, and two rooftop levels, and is slated to be completed by the end of October 2030.

Facilities will include basement retail and dining, an indoor/outdoor plaza, a large hall, a museum, office floors from 6 to 26, and rooftop terraces and a lounge.

MUFG plans to use the building to deepen integrated group operations and create an open, connected symbol for stakeholders.
