Valve opens Steam Controller reservations today at 10 AM PT after record-breaking sell-out — reservation queue puts real fans ahead of automated bots

Valve is reopening Steam Controller purchases through a timed reservation queue after the device sold out in about 30 minutes.

To reduce bots and scalpers, buyers must have a qualifying Steam purchase history, be in good standing, and are limited to one unit.

Reservation emails will go out in order, and selected users will have a 72-hour window to complete checkout once stock is available.
