Announcing Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL serverless database creation in seconds | Amazon Web Services

AWS announced general availability of an express configuration for Aurora PostgreSQL serverless databases.

The new setup provisions a database in seconds with preconfigured defaults, optional tweaks, built-in internet access, and IAM-based authentication.

The launch is designed to cut setup friction so developers can prototype and connect applications faster with less infrastructure work.
